The San Joaquin County Veterans Advisory Commission’s public meetings provide an opportunity for veterans advocates, and community members to come together, share updates, and stay engaged in issues impacting the veteran community. It meets the fourth Monday of every month.

Our community will gather to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The events begin at 5:30 a.m. with the set up of more than 300 coffin-sized flags throughout the cemetery. At 9 a.m., there will be a Memorial Service. At 4 p.m., the flags will be removed.

A meaningful gathering to come together in honor and remembrance. This ceremony typically includes: Presentation of The Colors, guest speakers, a Moment of Silence, wreaths or floral tributes.
